The Edmonton Research Park
is an interconnected destination for infrastructure-intensive innovation

At the Edmonton Research Park (ERP), we know that a healthy ecosystem of collaboration and involvement is integral to fostering creativity and growth. Since 1979, the ERP has been a cornerstone of innovation and entrepreneurship in Canada.

Where we were

Approved by City Council in 1979, the Edmonton Research Park was established as a catalyst for innovation in the city. Designed to provide tenants access to networking opportunities, workshops, and mentoring, the ERP strengthens the ecosystem through collaboration and community. It has become a staple of technological wonder and teamwork in Edmonton.

“This will mark a new and most important event in the history of the city.”

Mayor of Edmonton, C.J. Purves (1979)

Where we are

Occupying 300 acres in South Edmonton, the ERP sits just east of South Edmonton Common, offering easy access to stores, restaurants, and more. To the west lie growing neighborhoods like Ellerslie and Millwoods, and the Edmonton International Airport is a 15-minute drive to the South. Since its inception, the ERP has evolved into a collaborative community hub, where making connections and engaging in community-based activities is part of its DNA.
